Like most of you, I’ve always loved horses…..rode any one I could beg or borrow for forty years, then almost gave up ever owning one of my own.  Silly me!!  A cowgirl should never give up on her dreams!!

I “dated around” with four different horses, owning two at a time for awhile, but no one else in my family was interested in joining me.   I “went steady” with a grade gelding for a year……….learned a lot from that guy!  Then I “settled down” with a sweet 2 year old Appy filly, who has been my partner on the trails for 12 years.  We’ve done a little of lots of things: team penning, ranch sorting, camping, parades, Parelli.

Most of all we love to ride in the mountains and woods.  Here we are in the North Cascades above Wenatchee near Blewett Pass, camped at Haney Meadows.  Moving recently from Bellingham to Walla Walla has us riding very different terrain and we’re loving getting to know where to go around here!  So the BMR Mountain Trip with new friends is high on our “must do” list!!
