Riding Is Desirable Exercise
February - October 2008
120 hours - Italian charm bracelet, stainless steel, matte finish, & one
charm ($15)
240 hours - Running horse charm ($7-$8)
360 hours - I heart Horses charm ($14)
480 hours - Cowgirl charm ($14)
600 hours - dangle horse charm ($20)
This is a riding program to encourage members to get out there and ride!
It’s good for us! and it’s good for our horses.
RULES
1. Riding hours must be kept on record sheets and turned in to Lorri
monthly. Minute increments may be recorded. Totals will be kept by the
RIDE committee and will be published on the Yahoo Site. Record sheets
will be supplied by Lorri at meetings. They can also be downloaded and
printed from our Web site http://bluemountainriders.freehomepage.com

2. Any kind of riding and/or driving will count as long as you are
astride a horse/pony or on the seat of a horse drawn vehicle and have
the reins in your hand. Passenger hours/minutes do not count.
3. No hours will be counted without a Riding Record sheet turned in.
They can be turned in by email, snail mail, at the meeting, or by phone.
You will have one month to turn in your sheets. For example February
RIDE Record sheets will have to be turned in by March 31. March RIDE
Record sheets will have to be turned in by April 30. The exception to
this is the October RIDE Record sheet which will have to be turned in by
the November meeting, which is November 3. This will allow the RIDE
committee time to total the hours and buy the awards.
4. Hours will be totaled in November and Awards presented at the
Christmas Party.
Possibly monthly winners “on track” will receive a digital graphic for
their Web page at the Blue Mountain Riders site http://bluemountainriders.com
and will receive recognition at the next BMR meeting.
Hours will accrue from year to year.
